Meet Dawn F. Landry
Dawn F. Landry’s experience encompasses over 31 years of business development and marketing with the bulk of her career in Houston’s corporate real estate industry.
She has excelled in multiple leadership positions within the region’s largest economic development organization, as well as international commercial construction companies.
In February 2017, Dawn founded Authentizity, LLC. as an independent business growth strategist to assist companies with customized programs designed to advance their leadership proficiencies, team alignment and outreach effectiveness.
Leveraging Gallup CliftonStrengths® learnings and coaching certification, Authentizity provides consulting, training and coaching services that optimize technical teams’ engagement and productivity.
She credits her success to an understanding in which true market penetration and expansion are derived from a strategic and value-driven solution based upon team alignment, trust, and employee culture focus.
With this in mind, Dawn created and now offers a business development course, BD Dynamics, sharing what she has learned throughout her career and empowering the technical minded.
Adding to her list of accomplishments, Dawn is not only an award-winning, respected business professional, but now a best-selling author! She authored ARMORED, in 2020, sharing her unintentional care coach memoir with those who may find themselves in need of the wisdom.
Dawn and her husband, Daran, live in Houston, Texas sharing their home with their third generation of rescued pups. Dawn is a big dreamer with a strong faith in surrendering to God’s Will.
She loves to experience new cultures and is an avid appreciator/collector of art. Her weekly blogs, in the form of articles and recordings, continue to introduce growing audiences to new, personal and professional processes and insights.

Founding Authentizity
How did I become a business owner of a thriving consulting company? When I found myself at a crossroad in my career, the easiest thing would have been to go back to my comfort zone and take a full-time business development job in another company.
However, I knew, that I was bored and needed to advance my skill set by trying something new. I like to say, I am the Unlikely Entrepreneur. I never wanted to own my own business. I thought only about the challenges and difficulties it could bring. I’m here to tell you that I was wrong!
Owning Authentizity has been the most exhilarating, creative and rewarding time of my life. There’s something empowering about developing a business from the ground up to satisfy an unfulfilled niche in the market, growing not only my strengths but those around me.
Forging BD Dynamics™
It took six months of elbow grease in the form of late nights, multi-tiered levels of planning, and collecting copy amongst copy to produce BD Dynamics for the professional public.
I created BD Dynamics to empower my clients to get more done in less time, increase client satisfaction, and simply close more business. By the end of this self-guided training, participants will be able to dispel the untruths that effective, successful, technical business development professionals are born, not made. This includes the self-defeating, limiting thoughts that hinder the advancement of relationships.
Winning with Whiskers™ is a component of Authentizity’s BD Dynamics’ Program.
The fable is utilized for participants to readily envision their roles in cultivating and advancing their client relationships. That way, they can connect, no matter which character they identify with most.
In this training, participants work through a series of exercises to “own” their individual client approach, outreach, and maintenance style.
This fun and inspiring story helps even the most technically-minded service provider to expand their typical perceptions about business and client development so that they can overcome any self-limiting challenges.

By digging deeper into my observations with curiosity and creativity during the forced solitude of 2020, my twenty year old dream to be a published author became a milestone as ARMORED was birthed.
My goal in authoring this personal story is that you will be inspired, no matter your caregiving/care-coaching background or skill set, to understand that we all have the power within us to encourage our loved ones through the darkest of times in life’s journeys.
ARMORED has provided my business with an opportunity to learn the self-publishing process, gain market exposure internationally, and is now benefiting from speaking, coaching, training, and consulting opportunities as a result.
