Do You Want to be a Bad Listener? What a ridiculous question, right?

Yet, despite our best efforts, we really miss the mark more times than not.

It’s because no one has ever taught us how to be more attuned listeners or how to better our listening habits.

Our brains are often distracted, processing only 25% of listening while engaging in other activities. There are three components to remaining in a dialogue: self-awareness for times when we’re distracted, reconnecting with the person/people speaking, and listening to learn.
